PPS Tubes (Polyphenylene sulfide)

Chemical resistance:

Tubes made from PPS material are highly resistant to chlorinated water even during prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures. PPS tubes are resistant to organic chemicals and to the action of sodium hydroxide.

Physical properties:

Tubes made from PPS material are used as a substitute for metal pipes due to weight reduction especially in engineering and energy industries. They have a reduced weight of up to 90% compared to metal pipes. Transportation and installation costs are also reduced by the tubes being supplied in coils.

PPS tubes have high dimensional stability.

Tubes made from PPS can be used in a temperature range: up to 200 °C

The great advantage of PPS is the extremely low levels of fumes released in case of fire.

PPS tubes are highly resistant to the effects of radiation.

Harmfulness to health:

PPS tubes can also be used for food and medical applications; they are highly resistant to sterilization conditions.

Application:

PPS tubes can be used for conducting petroleum products such as diesel, oil, and kerosene.

PPS tubes are used for heat exchangers, conducting fuel for motor systems, circulating systems for hot water distribution and components of steam turbines.

The low internal friction is suitable for use with small internal diameters; PPS tubes reduce pressure losses in the system.
